Kate Hardcastle has been appointed as an ambassador for the Bulls after serving as a non-executive director for the past 12 months.

The award-winning businesswoman and lifelong supporter of the club came on board at the Provident Stadium this time last year.

She has introduced a host of new businesses to the club and is also an ambassador for Women's Sports Fitness Foundation, Women's Sports Trust and Her Rugby League.

Hardcastle has also staged a number of events at Odsal including the club's first-ever fashion show as well as creating the 'Wear Red' matchday event against Hull FC last season.

The night saw prizes and fireworks for the fans whilst raising awareness and funds for the Eve Appeal – a cause supported by the club last season.

Bradford chief executive Robbie Hunter-Paul said: “We are delighted to have Kate back on board as part of our team once again.

“She adds great value to the club and we have already benefited from her involvement.

“Kate's work has been ongoing during her transition into the new role and, as the club's official ambassador, will see her broker new partnerships for the club.

“She comes with a tremendous reputation and is well respected.

“I am extremely grateful for her ongoing support and look forward to working with her throughout the course of the season.”

Winner of 'Inspirational Woman of the Year', Hardcastle added: “My association with the club is out of a mark of respect to my father and grandparents who have been a part of the ‘Odsal’ legacy for over 60 years.

“My voluntary efforts – just like the many other volunteers at the Bradford Bulls - are part of a combined effort to continue the club's development.

“The more that we fans can stay positive and promote a healthy involvement with the club, the more likely brands & business partners will be inclined to get involved.

“This work is part of my pledge to ensure that all of my spare time and abilities are invested into the community in which I live and love.”
