Francis Cummins could give new recruits Dale Ferguson and Luke George their first outings in a Bradford jersey this weekend.
Castleford are the visitors to the Provident Stadium in the Bulls’ third and final pre-season outing.
Ferguson and George joined Bradford from Huddersfield during the off-season and have missed the opening two friendlies due to injury.
They are now close to full fitness and Cummins could give them some game-time before the Super League opener at home to Daryl Powell’s men a fortnight later.
The Bulls head coach said: “Luke and Dale have both had knocks but they are feeling a lot better and will hopefully be fit to play some part this weekend.
“Nick Scruton seems to be back to normal as well after the knock he picked up against Hull in the opening friendly.
“Other than Brett Kearney and Matty Blythe, pretty much everyone else is available this weekend.”
Cummins also paid tribute to on-loan Warrington trio James Salton-stall, Joe Philbin and Tom Walker for their efforts during their four-week loan spell with the Bulls.
Cummins said that, in all likelihood, they would head back to their parent club after this weekend’s game.
He added: “They have fitted in really well and it’s like they have been here for years. They have been a credit to themselves and to their club during their time with us.”
