Former Bulls winger Shaun Ainscough has joined Championship outfit Whitehaven on a one-year deal and believes the move could help him return to Super League.
The 23-year-old turned down a deal to stay at Bradford this year and switched to Australia, where he featured on a part-time basis for Southcity Bulls in New South Wales.
Ainscough, who scored 18 times in 29 appearances for the Bulls, said: “Hopefully if I’m playing well I can try to get back in Super League. That’s my goal.”
