Ryan Whitcut has revealed the Bulls could be ready to announce the club’s latest new investor next week.
Cullingworth-based businessman Ian Watt yesterday joined Whitcut and Mark Moore in coming on board at the Provident Stadium.
But talks with numerous other parties are continuing behind the scenes and could bear fruit within a matter of days.
Co-owner Whitcut said: “As Mark and I have said previously, there are people ready and willing to invest in the club.
“Ian has now stepped forward and we’re holding talks with other investors too.
“Some are in the early stages, some are in the very late stages, and we would anticipate further news coming out in the early part of next week.
“It’s fantastic that Ian has come on board because not only has he put his money into the club but he’s also going to put a lot of time into the club to help drive it forward.
“Success off the field will help drive success on the field. We all have the same aims and that’s to make Bradford Bulls what they were in previous years.”
Moore believes Watt’s investment is proof that the Bulls can attract the necessary funds to ultimately return the club to its former glories.
The BedzRus owner said: “Outsiders are looking in now and putting their money where their mouth is because they can see we are starting to turn it around.
“It’s like anything – if you’ve got a good business plan then people will want to get involved.”
