James Donaldson was knocked clean out during last week’s defeat at London Broncos but is raring to go against Salford tomorrow.
The Bulls back-rower was poleaxed by a vicious late hit from Broncos prop Antonio Kaufusi during the first half, forcing him off the field and leaving coach Francis Cummins furious.
Kaufusi copped a two-match ban for the challenge but Donaldson has sufficiently recovered to face the City Reds.
The 21-year-old Cumbrian said: “It was a bit of a shock and I don’t remember much of it.
“From what I’ve seen on the video, he seems to have come from the side, threw his arm at the same time and caught me right on the jaw.
“He seems to have jumped into it a bit and knocked me clean out.
“When I was coming to take the carry, I saw him and I just knew he was going to come for me.”
Nevertheless, Donaldson has trained without any problems this week and looks certain to play against Salford.
He said: “Will I be okay for Friday? Of course I will. I’ve done my head test already and passed that, so I’m feeling good.
“I was a bit dazed over the weekend, with a bit of blurry vision and memory loss, but I’m definitely okay now.”
Donaldson is out of contract at the end of the season and added: “I’ve had to go and play at Dewsbury at times but I want to play first-team at Bradford every week. I just want to show Franny what I can do.”
