Ben Evans is poised to make his long-awaited debut for the Bulls after being included in the 19-man squad for Sunday’s Tetley’s Challenge Cup fourth-round tie at Rochdale.
The on-loan Warrington forward had been sidelined after undergoing hip surgery but he is now fully fit and looks certain to feature at Spotland.
John Bateman and Jamie Foster are fit to return after recent injuries but Elliot Kear, Matt Diskin, Nick Scruton and Brett Kearney are all rested and Matty Blythe is still not fit to return.
Academy captain Sam Wood has been included in the squad along with Adam O’Brien, who could start the match.
