Jay Willey expects to finalise a deal to buy a stake in the Bulls within the next three weeks.
The Telegraph & Argus revealed last month how the Bradford businesswoman was poised to join the board of directors after agreeing to pump a “six-figure” fee into the club in return for a significant shareholding.
The 41-year-old from Holme Wood owns the European arm of cosmetics firm Kroma, which is currently embroiled in a high-profile legal battle with the Kardashian family, and has vowed to bring a touch of “glitz and glamour” to the Bulls.
A lifelong fan, Willey approached Omar Khan after his purchase of the club last September and discussions began over a potential role at the Provident Stadium.
Willey said: “We’ve been in negotiations for a while now so hopefully in the next two or three weeks we will have a deal that suits both parties.
“I’m very confident it will be done and I’m really excited about it.”
Since announcing her intention to buy a stake in the club, Willey has worked alongside the Bulls’ management team on a daily basis at the Provident Stadium.
“I’m enjoying being here,” she said. “I’ve been here working really hard with the team every single day for the past few weeks.
“I’ve been coming up with ideas, networking and looking at the corporate hospitality side of the club as well.
“I’m trying to juggle my business at Kroma with the Bulls and I’m constantly working anyway.
“It’s not just about the matchdays – being here for the games is great and it’s nice to mingle with the fans and watch the team.
“There is so much more happening behind the scenes. I relish a challenge and we’re turning things around from last year.
“I’m really excited about the future for myself, the Bulls and the fans too.
“As someone so passionate about Bradford, I’m delighted to be giving something back. I’ll be glad when the deal is done.”
Willey was speaking at the latest fans forum at Odsal on Saturday night, where it was announced that that the proposed share issue to fans should be available within the next four weeks.
Meanwhile, Bulls coach Francis Cummins looks certain to make a number of changes for Sunday’s Challenge Cup tie at Rochdale as a number of players come back into contention after injury.
