Jamie Langley has told the Bulls: I’d love to finish my career at Odsal.

The experienced loose forward is out of contract at the end of the season.

No discussions on his future have taken place so far but he is in no doubt where he wants to be.

Langley said: “I’m not too sure (what’s going to happen) because I’ve not had chance to sit down and talk to anyone yet.

“I think that will probably come in the next few weeks or months.

“Obviously this is my final year of my contract. I’m really enjoying my time at Bradford and would want to stay there – it just depends on the circumstances at the club and whether they want me to stay.

“I’m happy here and would like to finish my playing career here if possible.

“I’m sure we’ll sit down in the next few weeks and hopefully move forward with it.”

The Bulls are up to third after a cracking start to the Super League campaign – their first under Francis Cummins.

While there are a string of tough games approaching, Langley is not surprised by how well the club are doing so far.

“We had a great pre-season and as soon as Franny came in he instilled a professionalism and mentality into the lads that we have carried into the season,” he said.

“I think that attitude that we have approached training and games with has been a big part of it.

“It’s showing in the performances. We’ve had injuries but the lads who have come in have done a sterling job.

“We haven’t got a big squad but I think we’ve got a strong squad. As long as we can keep that core together, then that’s the main thing.”
