CAMERON Scott, with the last four-pointer of the match, took his try tally to 50 for the season in just 17 matches as Wyke defeated lowly visitors Dewsbury Moor 48-6 in Yorkshire Junior League Under-15 Division Four.
Knowing that they needed victory to keep alive their hopes of finishing third, the hosts soon took a stranglehold on proceedings and led 28-6 at half-time via tries by Scott (2), scrum half Connor Fawcett, skipper Sebastian Blanco and second-rower Liam Naven, loose forward Ben Proctor adding four goals.
There was little let-up in the second half either as tries followed for centre Jamie Robinson, joint top tackler Naven, Proctor and Scott, with Proctor and Scott each adding a conversion.
Other awards went to Cain Holdsworth (top tackler) and Bobby Stewart (parents' and players').
Victory at home to Dudley Hill will now guarantee Wyke third position.
Meanwhile, Bailey Taylford, Joshua Keegan and Toby Briggs all got on the try-scoring list for the first time this season as Wyke under-eights defeated Chapeltown 11-6.
Awards went to: Aidan Cartwright (player of the match), Logan Metcalfe, Alfie Barraclough and Andrew Parkin (top tacklers), Bailey Taylford (coaches' award), Alfie Barraclough (opposition man of the match).
