Heaton’s winning under-18s team Craig Holroyd, Will Reynolds, George Prescott and Cameron Almas
Heaton completed a double when they won the Bradford Parks League under-18s final at Pudsey Tennis Club.
The club’s under-15s had already won their league and the older players added to the celebrations as they beat the hosts 4-2.
Yet the score did not reflect how close the matches were, with some excellent tennis played in good spirit by both teams.
Heaton’s winning under-18s team were Craig Holroyd, Will Reynolds, George Prescott and Cameron Almas. Pudsey fielded Mark Hodgson, Tim Corcoran, Kerry Cooke and Tom Aldred.
Other members of the Heaton squad who played during the year and helped get them to the final were Ryan Bastow, Alex Giffen, Max Dixon and Samantha Wood.
