WEST Yorkshire's annual sportshall athletics trials have been arranged for Saturday, January 14 at the Richard Dunn Sports Centre in Bradford.
The under-11s trials will be at 10am, with the under-13s and under-15s at 2.30pm. Organisers Bingley Harriers need as many entries as possible to pay for the running costs of the trials and team entry fees for the regional finals.
West Yorkshire will also need to provide five officials or parents to help out at the regional finals (under-11s, 13s, 15s), which are at North Bridge Leisure Centre in Halifax on Sunday, February 19.
The UK finals are at Sport City Manchester on the weekend of April 22-23.
Entry forms for the West Yorkshire trials are at Richard Dunn Sports Centre trials or www.bingleyharriers.org (Junior/West Yorkshire Sportshall section). Entrants should complete both sides of the forms and send a stamped addressed envelope.
Any parents who can help out at either the West Yorkshire trials or the regional finals should contact county organiser Alan Oates at aoates@blueyonder.co.uk.
