Yorkshire captain Anthony McGrath dropped in to lend a hand at the coaching sessions at Bradford Grammar School’s Cricket Academy.
Bradford-born McGrath not only made the presentations to the Academy children but also took time out to coach the youngsters.
The Academy, which is or-ganised by Jed Boardman, was set up earlier this year to promote and teach cricket – not just among BGS pupils but also from schools within the area.
The scheme, which has proved very popular, has former Yorkshire batsman and Undercliffe captain Simon Kellett as head coach with four assistants beneath him, all of whom are involved in the Yorkshire Schools’ set-up.
