DRAX Cup newcomers Harden Primary School are through to the next stage of the biggest nationwide cricket competition for under-nines.
Harden qualified via the Oakbank School Sports Partnership event at Keighley Cricket Club after scoring 696 runs, which was 60 more than runners-up Victoria.
Elsewhere, 11 teams in the Hanson School Sports Partnership (including 2014 finalists Low Ash Primary from Wrose) are midway through a league format, with pool matches being played at the Karmand Centre.
There is a play-off today to decide who goes through to the partnership final next Thursday (June 11).
The four partnership winners will play in the 2015 Drax Cup finals at Headingley Carnegie on Friday, July 10, prior to Yorkshire Vikings v Durham Jets in the NatWest T20 Blast.
