Freeston Business College were given a scare by Whitcliffe Mount in the semi-finals of the Year 11 Boys' Yorkshire Carnegie Champion Schools' Rugby League Tournament.
After defeating All Saints (South Yorkshire) 22-4 in the third round, Kirklees champions Whitcliffe Mount lost a thriller 22-18 to the Wakefield area school.
Freeston now play local rivals St Wilfrid's in the final at Belle Vue - home of the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats - a week tomorrow.
