Ilkley Karate Club's team kata (set moves) trio proved that there can be perfection without practice in the Taikai Karate Association Open tournament at Barnsley.
Sam Simons and Georgia Breadley, who are both nine, and seven-year-old Lois Beardley had only been working together a couple of days prior to the tournament.
However, parents and officials all noted that their kata was so good that it was probably the best performance in the tournament.
Georgia added another two trophies to her collection by taking second place in the girls' junior grade kumite (free fight) event and a third place in the children's junior grade kata. Georgia, who only started karate six months ago, already has seven trophies.
