Bradford United Junior Football Club, only formed 15 months ago, have some exciting trips lined up for their members this summer.

They include a Billy Bantam Bradford City Football Club penalty shoot-out; a trip around Elland Road, and a Sunday roast meal in the Billy Bremner Lounge; and a visit to Manchester United's famous Cliffe Training Ground for coaching.

Bradford United have almost 200 players aged between four and 17, who play in the Keybury League or the Huddersfield League.

The club's promotions Officer and event organiser Mick Couzens said: "It is very important that, as these players grow up, I try to arrange events and activities that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

"Ian Ormondroyd at Bradford City and Brendan Ormsby and John McClelland at Leeds United have been superb in helping me organise things."

Soccer schools have been launched at Bradford United's headquarters - the GOALS complex off Kings Road on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm. Details are available from Mr Couzens on 07881 716217.
