HANSON Academy finished on the podium at the West Yorkshire Sainsbury's School Games sportshall athletics finals.
They were third, behind Crossley Heath (Halifax) and Roundhay (Leeds), in the Year Eight boys' event for secondary schools.
Oakbank School in Keighley won the Year Seven girls' event, with the team comprising Tori Rhodes, Britney Johnson, Jordanna and Ellie Dowse, Millie Hardaker, Becca Summersgill and Eve Crossley, while Highbury (Brighouse) were third in the Parallel Team Challenge disability event.
Some 700 pupils from 60 teams from Leeds, Calderdale, Bradford, Kirklees and Wakefield took part in the two-day finals at Halifax's North Bridge Leisure Centre.
