Whitechapel Primary from Cleckheaton are the latest team from the Bradford region to reach the west area final of the Drax Cup under-nines competition.
The team were unbeaten to finish top of the Spen Valley School Sport Partnership event at Cleckheaton Cricket Club. Heckmondwike were runners-up among the six schools taking part.
Whitechapel join Thornbury and Eastwood in the regional final, with a remaining place for a Bradford school to be decided in a play-off between Farnham, Copthorne, Southmere and Springwood from the West Bradford SSP on Thursday, June 5 at Great Horton Church’s ground.
Four regional winners will play in the Drax Cup finals at Headingley on Wednesday, July 2.
