BPA Eagles under-11s made it seven wins out of seven with a comfortable 11-1 success over Division A rivals Shipley Lions in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League.
Liam Brook gave the visitors an early lead when he blocked the keeper’s attempted clearance, sending the ball rebounding back into the Lions goal.
The lead was doubled after a great cross from Danny Frost was met by Kian Hutchinson on the back post, Hutchinson tricking the defender before calmly firing home.
Shipley pulled a goal back from the penalty spot before Hutchinson played a lovely through ball to Levi Henderson-Lee, who made it 3-1.
The Eagles’ fourth came courtesy of Hutchinson again when he ran on to a superb ball played by Eisa Faulding.
The second half was pretty much one-way traffic as the Eagles went on to score seven more goals.
Jack Holroyd finished well before turning provider for Brook’s second of the game. Man of the match Hutchinson then scored his third and fourth, with Frost adding to the tally with a fantastic individual effort.
Two goals from the excellent Tyler Rhodes completed the scoring.
The Eagles could be crowned champions when the face BPA Hawks this weekend.
The Hawks emerged 3-2 winners from a windswept Marley Stadium in their match against Oakworth Hornets.
Captain Jake Taylor put the visitors 1-0 up early on with a great shot from outside the box.
New signing James Howson was influential in the midfield, going close with another long-range strike, before Aaron Nowell scored with a close range header after some indecisive Hornets defending.
The Hawks made it 3-0 just after the break with another from Nowell, touching in a cracking free-kick from Taylor.
Keeper Jack Halmshaw was powerless to stop the Hornets getting a couple of goals back in the strong wind, only some fantastic last-ditch challenges from man of the match Jaanas Khan stopping Oakworth grabbing an equaliser late on.

Further goals from Jordan Hardaker, James Parkinson, man of the match Sam Whitney and a Jamie Bradley free-kick from the halfway line saw the visitors home.
The Foxes are still looking for a new goalkeeper. Anyone interested should telephone Matthew on 07796-264644.
Without a match since November because of the wet weather, it might have been expected that Nabwood under-15s would be a bit rusty in their Division D match with BCAB.
But there was no rust on Jack Partington, who hit a hat-trick, or man of the match Luke Waddington (2), as they dominated BCAB in a 6-2 victory. Charlie Hague was also on target, while Nick Hutton saved a penalty.

Both teams worked hard but two goals from Liam Wilkinson won the day, while Jacob Slator was a constant threat for Westwood.
Yellow Division leaders Shipley Tigers held off a brave challenge from third-placed Thackley Lightning.
In an evenly balanced game, Shipley just had the edge, with Jacob Green and Courbon Carr linking up together well alongside Will Kelly.

Will Austin and Will Patterson were outstanding in defence after the break but man of the match went to match-winner Hudson Parker.
In the under-tens Green Division, Queensbury beat Sandy Lane 2-0 with goals from Owen Taylor and Sam Swales.
Despite continued pressure from Wyke Wanderers under-eights A in the first half of their RCD Huddersfield League match against Shelf, they were unable to take advantage of the strong wind and downward slope.
They paid for their lack of killer instinct after the break, with Shelf coming out 1-0 winners.
Ellis Farrar was named Wyke’s man of the match for some fine goalkeeping.
The B team also went down 1-0 to Shelf, despite some resilient defending by Ben Duffy.
Wibsey Lions A lost 3-2 to Battyeford A in a friendly encounter which was a genuine game of two halves.
With the scheduled league game against Batley on Saturday falling foul of the weather, Battyeford stepped in to offer Wibsey a match on their well-drained pitch.
With the wind at their backs in the first half, Battyeford came out of the blocks quickly against a somewhat rusty-looking Lions team, who hadn’t played a competitive game for a month.
Indeed, after only four minutes Battyeford had scored twice from four clear shots on goal.
When Wibsey did get a sight of goal, Ben Kerwick, Owen Khan and Jacob McLoughlin were all off target.
Battyeford claimed their match-clinching third goal on ten minutes as Travis Wardman and Bradley Davies were over-run.
Jack Hewitt-Hill made some great saves to keep Wibsey in the game and the closest Wibsey got to scoring in the first half was when the home keeper parried Jacob’s shot and Eli Fielding-Bell, on his debut, put the follow-up into the side-netting.
Connor Barran dropped to defence in the last quarter and made some timely challenges to keep the Battyeford strikers at bay before Nathan Aylott came off the bench to pull a goal back with a fine first-time finish after getting on the end of Khan’s cross.
With five minutes to go, Fielding-Bell set up Aylott for his second but time ran out for Wibsey to find an equaliser.
