All Saints Primary School have been crowned My BD5 Inter-Local Area Partnership champions.
This season’s campaign was fiercely contested and went down to the final week, with All Saints needing to avoid defeat against second-placed St Joseph’s Catholic Primary to clinch the title.
Games were played every Thursday at Parkside Sports Centre in a league run by sports development worker Richard Harrison.
The winners and runners-up played at Valley Parade during half-time of City’s game against Rotherham.
Afterwards the All Saints captain was presented with the winners’ shield and the players received medals and trophies.
My BD5 extended services co-ordinator Naveed Mushtaque said: “The league has been running for a number of years but My BD5 are delighted to have been given the opportunity to play on the Valley Parade pitch for the first time.
“It is a huge honour for the children and is an experience I am sure will live with them for many years to come.”
