Bradford Tigers under-16s completed back-to-back Craven, Aire & Wharfe League victories over Shipley Tigers with a 10-3 away success.

Zubair Shakeel scored half the Tigers goals and combined well up front with Saif Ahmed, who bagged a hat-trick for the second successive weekend.

Joe Stewart started and completed the scoring but the match points went to defenders Jamie Clegg (managers’ award) and Jonny Stott.

Danny Frost’s hat-trick helped BPA under-11s Eagles move clear at the top of the table with an 8-2 home victory over Oakworth Hornets.

Reece Cunliffe fired the hosts ahead inside four minutes and further first-half goals followed from Liam Brook, Frost and Kian Hutchinson.

Frost completed his treble with two more goals at the start of the second half and although Oakworth pulled a couple back after Brook had made it 7-0, man of the match Jack Holroyd had the final say with a 20-yard special.

A solid team performance saw the BPA under-14s A team overcome last year’s fellow promoted side Silsden Reds 4-0.

Good work by man of the match Tom Bentham forced Silsden into conceding an own goal opener and Matin Hakimy added a second before the interval following a scramble in the area.

The pace of Liam Bates constantly troubled the Silsden defence in the second half and although he hit the post from one shot, he was not to be denied a goal from his next attempt.

Kenny Tafireyi added the final goal from close range after the Silsden keeper could only palm Lewis Wood’s free-kick back out to his feet.

The BPA under-14s B team drew 3-3 at Undercliffe Celtic after trailing 2-0 and 3-2.

Keeper Joseph Allatt named BPA man of the match as Reul Briscoe, Abdul Hakim and Luke Parkin supplied the goals.

BPA under-13s were edged out 4-3 by leaders Thackley Dragons as goals by Daniel Issacs, Billy Raistrick and new recruit Saqib went unrewarded.

Man of the match was right back Callum Towriss for another solid performance.

Albion Sports under-11s trailed 2-0 after some woeful finishing but dug deep to run out 5-2 winners against Queensbury Celtic.

Sports keeper Piyush Rana prevented a greater deficit before his team-mates finally found their shooting boots, with man of the match Ibby Hussain pulling one back and Raheem Mohammed adding a controversial equaliser.

Hussain went on to complete his hat-trick and Mohammed doubled his tally, while Omar Khan and captain Aaron Morris were both outstanding in defence.
