BPA Eagles under-11s produced a storming second-half display as they hit back from 2-1 down to beat Silsden 10-3 in the Craven League.

Liam Brook and Eisa Faulding scored in the first half for the Eagles before further goals rained in from Jack Holroyd (3), Brook, Reece Cunliffe, Kian Hutchinson, Tyler Rhodes and Danny Frost.

Jack Gilroy and man of the match Levi Henderson-Lee excelled in defence.

Hat-tricks by Daniel Isaacs and Billy Raistrick were backed up by two Aadil Razzaq goals as BPA under-13s beat Thackley Crusaders 8-1 to gain their first league win of the season. Defender Ewan Pyrah was named man of the match.

BPA under-14s went one better with a 9-1 win against Sutton Rogues led by Blake Horn’s hat-trick. Others came from Luke Parkin, Reul Briscoe, Danny Pickles, Abdul Hakim, Jordan Norde’s first of the season and an own goal.

Lewis Wood’s hat-trick sealed a 5-3 victory for BPA under-14s against Shipley, who led 3-1 early in the second half.

Left back Harrison Whittaker’s long-range strike began the comeback, with Tom Bentham’s late fifth goal securing the points, while Liam Bates was named man of the match.

Left back Jordan Fletcher finally scored his first goal after five years playing for Nab Wood as they earned a 3-3 draw against under-15 rivals Thackley B.

Fletcher opened the scoring and other goals followed from Charlie Hague and Robbie Bloodworth but, from 3-1 up at the interval, Nab Wood could not finish the job.

Two first-half Charlie Raywood goals set Horton Foxes under-12s on course for a 4-2 win at improving Settle United.

James Parkinson’s tenth goal of the season made it 3-0 and although two goals by the hosts set up a tense finish, Rhys Delaney’s late deflected effort ended the fightback.

Idle under-16s maintained their 100 per cent record with a cup and league double.

They beat Leeds Maccabi 4-1 in the County Cup second round and followed up with a 5-1 victory over Oakworth to make it five league wins from as many games.

Idle have now scored 33 goals in their seven fixtures to date, with Dylan Budge netting 12 of them and James Swales four.

Albion Sports under-11s belatedly got their league season under way with an emphatic 10-0 win at Farsley.

Ibby Hussain’s cross was deflected in for the opener, with Haroon Isa and Omar Khan ensuring a 3-0 interval lead.

Isa completed his hat-trick after the break, with Raheem Mohammed (2), man of the match Alfie Moulden (2) and James Howson also on target.

* Only poor finishing let down an otherwise excellent performance by Albion Sports under-14s as they bowed out of the COUNTY CUP 2-1 at Carlton Athletic.

The impressive hosts fell behind to a Zain Mushtaq goal, set up by Hussain Ibrar’s solo run.

But they hit back strongly to reach the next round despite the best efforts of man of the match Cameron Green, defensive partner Ryan Singh and goalkeeper Aaron Day.
