WESTWOOD JETS under-11s were crowned Division Two champions after a 3-1 win at Saville Town in the Huddersfield Junior League.

It was 1-1 at half-time but Westwood then stepped on the gas, with goals from Harrison Moon, Joshua Dinsdale and Connor Whyte sealing the victory.

CHALLENGE JUNIORS under-15s are also Huddersfield League champions after beating Osset Albion 6-2 in the Division Two play-off final.

SANDY LANE under-12s clinched promotion to the A section by winning their final Craven League game of the season 10-2 against Albion Sports.

The team had risen two sections from D to B the previous campaign as under-11s but quickly adapted to the higher level.

Morgan Robinson was named player of the year after receiving six man of the match votes. Runner-up was Ryan Newall, whose 28 goals – including six hat-tricks – made him top scorer.
