Prospect Juniors became joint Craven, Aire & Wharfe League Under-13D champions thanks to an 8-3 victory over Bradford Park Avenue in their final league game.

They trailed 2-0 within the opening ten minutes after goals by Raul Briscoe and Shabaz Ali, who fired home from the penalty spot after Pemphero Kallingama was tripped in the box.

Prospect then clicked into gear and powered their way past a determined nine-man BPA side thanks to a hat-trick from leading scorer Jordon Farrell and further strikes by David Stainsby (2), Johnny Durkan (2) and an own goal – taking them past the 100-goal mark for the season.

They share the title with Burley Trojans, the pair currently 13 points clear of the chasing pack.

BPA under-12s kept up there hopes of getting through to the next round of the Craven League Invitations Cup with a hard-fought 8-7 win over Shipley Tigers.

BPA were leading 5-2 at the end of the first half thanks to Billy Raistrick (3), Josh Mckiernon and Jack Mongan.

McKiernon got his second after the interval but Shipley kept coming back.

Mongan grabbed his hat-trick to open up a two-goal lead again but Shipley tucked away a late penalty to make it a tense final few minutes for Avenue.

Wilsden Warriors under-14s showed how much they have progressed during the season by clawing out a 2-0 victory against Nab Wood in Division D.

There was little to choose between the two sides for three quarters of the game and it looked like a draw was on the cards.

Wilsden claimed maximum points after finally beating the outstanding Joshua Drew in Nab Wood’s goal.

With both sides meeting league winners BPA in their final fixtures, the champions will have a big say in who else gets promoted.

The top-of-the-table A division clash between unbeaten sides BD3 Utd under-15s and Idle ended in a 5-1 win for BD3.

Idle took the lead early with a 20-yard shot and United levelled just before the break through Mohammad Israr.

BD3 came out all guns blazing after the break, with further goals from Ozair Arshad, Mohammad Hamza – a thunderbolt from 25 yards – and Mohammad Israr.

A late penalty from man of the match Shabaz Ali sealed BD3’s 11th win a row.

Bradford Tigers under-14s failed to make possession count in their key Division C promotion clash at home to Silsden.

Needing only a draw to ensure finishing second, they lost 1-0 to Silsden, who need to win at Barnoldswick this Sunday to guarantee taking the runners-up spot.

Tigers’ man of the match Zivo Takavarasha had a good volley in the first half, which went straight at the keeper, while Lucas Clayden was one on one with the keeper in the second half but lobbed over the bar.

Tigers’ under-15s recovered from 2-0 down to draw 3-3 in their opening Invitation Medal tie at home to Skipton LMS.

Managers’ man of the match Harry Hall’s hat-trick goal put the hosts 3-2 up but it always looked on the cards that LMS would equalise.

Joe Stewart won the match point for Tigers, while Marv Singh pulled off their best tackle of the season.
