Bradford Tigers under-14s emerged from their unscheduled mid-season break with a thrilling 4-4 draw at Silsden.
After going behind from the hosts’ first attack, Tigers led 3-2 and 4-3 but conceded a scrambled equaliser.
Lucas Clayden (2), Jordan Kitching and substitute Kyle Dunn – his first for the club – netted for Tigers, for whom man of the match Gage Faulkner was immense.
East Bowling Allstars under-11s won 7-5 in a thrilling encounter with table-toppers Leeds Maccabi in the Keybury League.
EBA were 3-1 down at half-time despite having had most of the possession – Callum Troy with the goal.
Zak Sangster scored within minutes of the second half and Bradley Oliver equalised.
Minutes later he went the full length of the pitch and scored his second to put EBA 4-3 up before Maccabi equalised.
Sangster scored from the restart, then an excellent pass from Callum Hirst sealed Sangster’s hat-trick before he hit a late fourth.
Bolton Woods under-16s A knocked Altofts out of the County Cup.
Ross Nothers put Woods on their way to a 2-0 third-round win with a goal after 49 seconds.
The killer second was a fine solo goal from Ramhat Vafa, who set off from the halfway line and rounded three Altofts players tbefore slotting home.
James Fox saved an Altofts penalty to keep a clean sheet.
History will be made on Sunday at Gilstead Recreation Ground. It will be the first time in the recreation ground’s history that a girls competitive game will be played.
Bingley Juniors under-14s take on Wigton Moor in the second round of the West Riding County Cup. Kick off is 10.30am.
