Leon Wilton and Josh Whiteley scored the decisive goals as Idle under-14s secured three deserved Craven, Aire & Wharfe League points with a 2-0 win at blustery BD3 United.

A pass from Patrick Cooper after a blistering run down the left set up Wilton for the opener and Whiteley added the second from the penalty spot.

Idle then held out during the second half against the wind, keeping BD3’s chances to a minimum.

Two early Kyle Moulson goals set Silsden Reds under-15s on the way to an impressive 5-2 League Cup win at Bolton Woods A.

Goalkeeper Danny Binns was named man of the match as further Silsden goals followed from captain Mark Smith and Luke Wilson, before Moulson completed his hat-trick.

Fairbank United under-16s continued their impressive season by shocking Division A high-fliers Silsden 3-2 in the League Cup.

Silsden twice took the lead and had enough chances to be out of sight but Fairbank hung in there and two goals from Hassan Iqbal, the second a penalty, forced extra time, when a wonder strike by Sohail Rashid settled the outcome.

Wilsden under-12s bowed out of the League Cup as section leaders Keighley Shamrocks stormed to a 5-0 victory.

Joe Hutchinson and Joseph Jagger, who finished the game in goal, excelled in defence but Wilsden missed two penalties and they were made to pay as Keighley pulled clear with four second-half goals.

Zak Khan struck late on to clinch a 3-2 victory for Albion Sports B under-13s at Nab Wood in the Phoenix Trophy.

Ismail Rehman had twice seen goals cancelled out and it needed some awesome tackles by Rahul Bhalla to keep Nab Wood at bay before Khan hit the winner.

Bradford Tigers under-13s warmed up for their final league match of the season with a 6-2 defeat at Shipley Lions, who are a division above.

A beautifully-weighted through ball by Danny Chapman created the first goal for Jordan Kitching and a thumping volley from Luke Duckett brought the score back to 4-2.

Danny Marshall was solid at the back for Tigers, as was Lucas Clayden once he switched to right back. Tigers could meet the Lions again if they both win their opening cup ties.
