Bradford United wasted little time in establishing their dominance against Leeds Maccabi in the Keybury Junior League Under-Nines’ Red Division.
Jack Holroyd finished well from close range, and bundled the ball over the line for his second.
Captain Jack Halmshaw was involved in three of the goals in the 8-2 romp, including the third, when his shot was headed home by Holroyd for his hat-trick. The latter was superb and it was no surprise when he got his and United’s fourth.
A great bender into the top corner from Eisa Faulding made it 5-0 at half-time, and goals followed from Ethan Rhodes, Asa Mitchell and a great individual effort from Holroyd.
Faulding and Holroyd were also on target for the under-tens in their 5-1 victory over East Bowling, Liam Brook getting a hat-trick while Owen Clark was man of the match.
