Improving Scholemoor under-tens increased their unbeaten run to eight matches in the Keybury League with a 1-0 win at Burley.

Jamie Denning smashed a late winner to clinch the points. Moor’s Jimmy Parkinson was named man of the match.

Westwood under-eights got back to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Horton Foxes. Ethan Allen and Max Maguire got two apiece with Jacob Macintosh and Jakes Speed also hitting the target.

Guiseley Whites cashed in on lacklustre defending to beat Bradford United Scorpions 4-2.

Ali Arhsad and Felan Panwar scored for Scorpions, who have now lost three in a row.

Guiseley under-eights and Bradford Lizards drew 2-2 on a muddy pitch. Jack Wright twice put Bradford in front in the tricky conditions but, despite a fine save from Lewis Moorhouse, Guiseley levelled after a goalmouth scramble.

Bradford United’s under-tens battled hard but could not match an impressive Grassington, losing 7-1.

United trailed 6-1 at half-time but tightened up after the break. Kieran Shirgal scored their goal and was named the team’s man of the match.

An under-strength Albion Sports under-tens won 2-0 at Otley Town.

Wayner Taylor got the first and man of the match Bilan Tofan sealed the win with a great individual run.

Mohammed Sahir Butt, making his debut, also played well in midfield.

Albion under-nines went down 4-0 to a good Otley side, all the goals coming in the second half. It could have been worse but for a couple of quality saves from Piyush Rana.

Bradford United under-nines Red beat Leeds Maccabi 8-2.

Jack Holroyd finished well from close range in the opening minutes in a match United totally dominated.

Holroyd bundled the ball over the line for his second and captain Jack Halmshaw was involved in three of the goals, including the third, when his shot was headed home by Holroyd for his hat-trick.

Holroyd scored his fourth with a great bending strike into the top corner and at half-time the lead stood at 5-0 after an Eisa Faulding strike.

Ethan Rhodes, Asa Mitchell and Holroyd added further goals after the break.
