Top scorer Issa Muvunyi once again led the way as Eccleshill United under-13s kept their unbeaten record for the season in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League.

Not surprisingly, he got the man of the match award in the 10-3 defeat of Campion, other goals coming from Arslan Mahmood, Peter Booth and Kyle Child.

United's under-15s also went goal crazy to remain unbeaten, Stephen Wilkinson grabbing four in the demolition of Sedbergh.

James Smith and man of the match Ahmed Mohammed got a brace each, Ryan Singh, Nathan Latif, Liam Bennett, Alex Coleman and Chris Lever also netting. Josh Burgoyne got the consolation for United's under-14s, who went down 5-1 at home to Wilsden.

Man of the match Andy Hawker scored the equaliser for Campion under-16s, who shook off their ring-rust with a 1-1 draw at home to Booth-town.

Campion had missed six weeks but Silsden's under-12 A team had been inactive for two weeks longer. However, you wouldn't have known it by their 6-1 defeat of Sedbergh.

Dylan Budge netted for the hosts in the third minute following a Ben Ramsden shot that had hit the bar and they added four more in a three-minute purple patch, Budge, Ramsden and Ben Addison doing the damage.

Sedbergh hit back with their goal in the second half but a David Hunt brace put the issue beyond doubt.

The calm Ryan Narey was Silsden's man of the match after being drafted in at centre back. Bradford Tigers failed to make best use of the wind in the first half and found themselves trailing 1-0 at half-time to Burley Trojans in the Under-11 B Division.

However, although the elements weren't the advantage they at first seemed, Trojans, who kept their eye on the ball a shade better, won 3-0.

Tigers came closest to a goal playing into the wind when a long-range Lucas Clayden shot hit the bar, Luke Duckett almost bundling home the rebound and Billy Joe Rhodes firing into the side-netting. Tigers keeper Jordan Clem-ents was their man of the match.

In a similar vein, Bradford United Lizards failed to cash in with the elements and only led 1-0 at half-time at Oakworth in the Keybury League.

Rhys Raistrick was the marksman but the end result was a 5-1 defeat, although man of the match Jack Cavalier-Lumley and Chris Sampson both took the game to Oakworth.

In the Under-Ten Green Division, Bradford Park Avenue Titans maintained their undefeated record, triumphing 5-1 at Keighley Shamrocks.

Curtis Gentles gave Avenue the lead into the wind, only for a shot from halfway to level matters up.

However, an own goal and efforts from Connor Rhodes, Luke Fletcher and Gentles gave Avenue their significant edge.

Despite hitting the post twice and having a goal disallowed, Queensbury Cougars couldn't find the back of the net and drew 0-0 with Thackley Thunder in the Under-Nine B Division, Harry Palmer winning the man of the match award for Bury.

In the Green Division, Joe Beadsley and Alex Sykes gave Queensbury Colts a 2-0 victory over Thackley Dragons, Harrison Moore taking the award for a strong defensive display.

Bradford United under-sevens had two matches in their Blue Division, defeating visitors Kings Park Sharks 2-1 but losing by the same score to Westwood Jets the following day.

Goals in either half from Ethan Rhodes gave United the edge over the Sharks, and Jaanas Khan's effort meant United led the Jets at the interval. Goalkeeper Ben Fraser defied the Jets in the second half but conceded two in the final quarter.

A penalty from man of the match Joe Storey gave Eccleshill United's under-eights a 2-1 victory over Eldwick, captain Joe Powell having earlier given United the lead.

In the Under-Eight Red Division, Bradford United dominated for the second successive match against Horsforth Colts but finished up losing.

Mason Kirby twice curled efforts just wide of a post, Kietan Shergill shot wide and Jordan Broadbent fired over, all in the first half, only for United to be undone by a route-one goal late in the second half.

Bradford United's under-18s had had a six-week lay-off due to waterlogged pitches in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League but still defeated Thornhill Boys 10-0 in their comeback match.

James Kioma made his first start memorable by bagging a hat-trick. Jonathan Dunn also got a treble and other goals came from Robert Winn (2), Chris McTigue and Kyle Berry.

Thornhill had a player sent off after the half-time whistle blew for a barrage of abuse to the referee and another one was dismissed in the second half.

Vision Juniors A remain unbeaten leaders of the Under-Ten A Division after defeating Wyke Wanderers 4-0 with goals from man of the match Callum Docherty (2), James Dennison and Tom Bentham, while the B team are also unbeaten, defeating Wanderers 3-1 with goals from Toby Stanley, Ryan Whitfield and Vaughn Williams.

Eccleshill United's under-16s won 12-2 at Westend, Danny Crozier getting four and Liam Holstead and Danny Myas two each, with the tally being completed by Tony Hardisty, Philip Gamble, Liam Stead and man of the match Adam Flaxington.

Farsley Celtic Colts Under-13s warmed up for their derby with Farsley Juniors this weekend with a wholehearted display in a 3-1 defeat at leaders Collingham in the Garforth Junior League.

Dale Harriman and Joe Farrally worried the home side in the first half, when Josh Maskill was running midfield, but only Dominic Staunton was able to find the net.
