BRADFORD Warriors have taken a large step towards the Huddersfield RCD Junior League Under-12 Division 4B title by defeating their closest pursuers, Drighlington B.
The match was played under floodlights on the 4G pitch at Bradford Academy, and the Warriors took the lead via Ben Green after ten minutes with a looping shot from outside the box.
Warriors' second came straight after, good wing play from Brandon McDonagh creating the chance for Bailey Breaks to score.
Goal machine Roberto McFarlane got the third before half-time, finishing nicely from an Adam Worby corner, but Drighlington deservedly scored twice in the second half.
However, Warriors made it 4-2 when Ben Cockroft crossed for McDonagh to score, and sealed the match five minutes from time with a fantastic 25-yard strike into the far corner.
David Milner and Breaks shared the man of the match award.
