Two worldy goals from BPA Dragons’ Kieron Heptinstall helped them to victory over Sandy Lane in Craven League Under-11 D.

In the first meeting between the two sides, Heptinstall picked up a Sandy Lane clearance and let go with a thunderous strike into the top of the goal to put the home side ahead.

A second arrived minutes later, with Alfie Conroy squaring for Heptinstall to convert at the back post from a tight angle.

A few minutes into the second half, midfielder Levi Nunney fed Heptinstall, who struck a second long-distance lightning bolt to complete his first-ever hat-trick.

Dominik Dygasewicz added a fourth goal for Dragons, who preserved their clean sheet thanks to strong defending from Ethan Scott, Leo Foltier and Dygasewicz, with Joe Tattersall making a series of great saves between the sticks.

BPA Raptors under-11s fought out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Eccleshill in C Division.

An end-to-end first half saw Tyler Brown score from the edge of the box. Eccleshill struck back to lead 2-1 until Louis Price equalised just before half-time.

Vincent Henderson’s cheeky chip put Raptors into lead but, when a corner was not cleared, Eccleshill pounced to equalise.

BPA under-15s lost 8-3 at home to Thackley Crusaders in Division B.

Billy Enoch scored the goal of the game from the halfway line and added a second after the break, with Connor Barley also on target. BPA man of the match went to Lewis Haynes.

Alex Gibson took 47 seconds to fire BPA Lizards under-12s into the lead at home to Sutton.

Having collected the ball on the edge of the Sutton area, Gibson weaved into the box and slotted the ball into the left-hand corner.

Five minutes later, Dominic Corps scored his first of the game with a stunning 25-yard free-kick.

Corps added his second two minutes later before Sutton regrouped and managed to stem the flow of BPA attacks.

Bang on half-time, Gibson slipped his marker and slotted home from close range to make it 4-0.

Lewis Melvin cracked home a volley on 44 minutes and Thomas Indriks pulled off a fine penalty save to deny Sutton, however the rebound fell kindly and was chipped home to wild cheers from their travelling fans.

Matthew Ham created space late on for Kaylum Johnson to tap home at the near post to leave the final score 6-1.

Shelf Juniors under-11s A breezed through to the third round of the League Cup with an 8-0 win at Honley B.

The eight different goalscorers were Daniel Asquith, Alex Swinbank, Lewis Fitzpatrick, Josef Storer, Jordan Harrison, Armani Andrews, Harrison Williams and goalkeeper Dj Edmands.

Westwood Jets under-11s maintained top spot in Division A with a fine 7-1 win at Salts Lions.

There were Goals from Lewis Dunn (4), Andy Hewitson, Liam Wilkinson and Luca Atkinson.

Silsden and Horsforth Mustangs are still breathing down Westwood’s necks in the race for the title.

Third-placed Horsforth won 8-2 at home to Fairbank and are five points behind with a game in hand over the pacesetters.

Second-placed Silsden Dragons have played the same number of games as Westwood and are four points adrift. They dropped two vital points after only managing a 5-5 draw with basement side BD3 United at the weekend.

Wyke Wanderers under-tens A worked hard to beat visitors Thornhill 4-0 in the Huddersfield RCD League Cup.

The result may have been different had Thornhill scored from a free-kick early in the game but keeper Matthew Leaper stretched to push the ball over the crossbar.

Despite Thornhill having a stubborn defence Jack Leach opened the scoring, converting Reece Clay’s corner.

Thornhill proved tough opposition but Wyke managed to break them down again in the second half, with Clay netting from 20 yards. Clay was on target again before Kamran Latif finished off the scoring.

Having lost 1-0 away to Thornhill on the opening day, the under-tens B team exacted revenge by putting nine past them at home, with just one in reply.

Loui Cook scored first for Wyke, redirecting Nathan Moore’s goal-bound shot into the net.

Moore assisted again, crossing for Hayden Clifford to net his first.

Clifford then went on to score another three before half-time, with Tyrese Liu scoring in between.

Clifford converted yet again for his fifth and final goal of the day. Latif made it 8-0 before Thornhill scored a consolation goal, only for Latif to round off the scoring.

Bradford Warriors under-11s thumped Shelf B 8-0 to march into the last 16 of the League Cup.

Jordan Styslo gave Warriors the lead inside ten minutes, with Roberto McFarlane, Adam Worby, Styslod and Brandon McDonagh making it 5-0 at half-time.

With Warriors still very much on top after the interval, McFarlane (2) and Styslo completed their hat-tricks .

David Milner was named Warriors’ man the match.
