Bradford & Bingley have added to their playing strength.

The promotion-seeking National League Three North club, who are third in the table, have offered a contract to Aiden Scully.

The 18-year-old, who has played rugby league since he was eight, has represented Victoria Rangers and Dudley Hill, but has also featured at union for West Yorkshire Under-17s and Yorkshire Under-19s and 20s while with the Bees.

Scully, who made his Bees debut in the 29-10 New Year’s Day victory at home to Keighley and can play at fly half or full back, will be in the squad for Saturday's game at Lymm.

Bradford & Bingley’s director of rugby Martin Whitcombe said: “Aiden has raw potential and, like James Brown, needs to work on his strength and getting used to our set-up but both will have a big part to play for us next season.”
