Bradford & Bingley, relegated after their debut season in National League Two in 2006-07, have signed six new players for the forthcoming National League Three North campaign, while three more are returning to the fold.

Perhaps the most significant newcomer will be scrum half Joe Bartlett from Halifax.

The Yorkshire half-back is the son of former Bradford back-row legend Dave Bartlett.

The younger Bartlett will be competing for a place with another new boy Ben Jackson.

Also signed are utility back John Edwards, who is a student at Leeds Met University, and centres Matt Simpson, who played for Yorkshire Under-18s last season, and former Leeds Carnegie Academy player Sam Booth.

Pacy winger Tim Sibanda, who helped Ilkley retain the Aire-Wharfe Cup last season, is also coming to Wagon Lane The trio who are coming back to the Bees are former Keighley skipper centre Tim Marlow, back-rower Ben Grange (Navy) and hooker Iyran Clunis, who didn't really get a look-in last season under coach Geoff Wappett.

Definitely going are Lancashire skipper and scrum half Dave McCormack, winger Joe Simpson and No 8 Hese Fakatou.
