WITH three of their last four matches at home, it is fair to say that Bradford & Bingley's future in SSE North One East will be decided at Wagon Lane.
That sequence starts on Saturday against mid-table Alnwick and, even though they will be without No 8 Greg Whately and utility back Tom Bills, the Bees hope that they will be out of a relegation berth by tea-time.
To do that, they need to beat Alnwick and hope that Northern fall at home to third-placed Rochdale.
"With Horden already down and Alnwick virtually safe, we have the easiest run-in of the five teams below our opponents," said Bees first-team manager Benji Pickin.
"And, although we know it won't be easy, there were an impressive 27 players down at training on Tuesday and the spirit is good, especially as we nearly won at Alnwick with a depleted squad."
That spirit is exemplified by player-coach Stuart Dixon, who is driving overnight from his England Counties backroom staff duties in France in order to be in the squad.
BRADFORD SALEM have clinched promotion from Yorkshire Division Two, and six points from four matches will give them the championship, starting with a difficult trip to fifth-placed Barnsley at the weekend. KEIGHLEY are at second-placed West Park Leeds.
OLD GROVIANS have Cambridge University blue Jack Baker in their ranks as they chase the Division Three championship at Rotherham Phoenix.
