Bradford & Bingley have not extended the contract of director of rugby Henry Paul.
Instead the Bees have handed the coaching reins to former players Ronnie Kelly (forwards) and Stuart Dixon (backs), whose more simplified game-plan almost saved them from SSE National League Three North relegation last season with four wins out of five when former England international and Bulls legend Paul was working Down Under.
Bees secretary Nick Patterson said: “Henry Paul’s contract has expired but he has offered to help us out when he can.”
Meanwhile, the Bees, who start their SSE North One East season at Dinnington on September 6, have announced that flanker Tom Cokell will be available in 2014-15 after two seasons concentrating on work commitments.
