Bradford & Bingley Rugby Union Club have been rewarded with the Rugby Football Union’s Club Accreditation award.
RFU development officer Hamish Pratt, who made the presentation, said the Bees should be very proud of the achievement and their commitment to developing rugby union.
He added: “The club are working hard to develop age-grade players, linked with school programmes and coaching development. Together with the core values of the game, the components work towards a strong, sustainable club.
“Accreditation means that players and parents can be assured that Bradford & Bingley fulfil a duty of care to protect young people and children, interact with the local community and are managed to high-quality standards.
“The RFU Club Accreditation award also includes the Clubmark Accreditation issued by Sport England. This is a real team effort, with support from the wider rugby family.
“I look forward to working with the club and the numerous volunteers that are driving the development forward as we all look to support the Rugby World Cup next year.”
