It hasn't been the season that they would have wished for but Bradford & Bingley could be celebrating something by Saturday tea-time.
The Bees, who host Percy Park, will ensure their survival in SSE National League Three North if they match the achievements of Birkenhead Park, who meet Rossendale.
While agreeing that the individual parts of his team have made less than a whole, Bradford & Bingley's secretary Nick Patterson pointed out: "I don't like to fall back on injuries, but we haven't been able to field a settled side.
"We have had four different hookers, four different scrum halves and a number of full backs."
The Bees hope that intensive physio means that Ben Greaves will have recovered from a shoulder injury and they will also want to get combative forward Brett Mitchell onto the field, although that is more of a long shot after he dislocated a knee last Saturday only for it to click back into place.
