Baildon, beaten 19-14 at Billericay in the RFU Junior Vase semi-finals in 2007, resume their bid to get to Twickenham on Saturday.
The Jenny Laners, who qualified as Yorkshire’s highest-placed Level Nine club last season, are at Newton Aycliffe.
The hosts are third in Durham & Northumberland Division Three, and Baildon showed how seriously they are taking this competition when they sent their rugby chairman Andy Whitley to watch Newton Aycliffe at Seghill (the other opponents in a group of three) in Nov-ember.
Seghill won 9-7 but Whitley said: “Newton Aycliffe have a powerful pack with some strong ball-carriers and are currently near the top of their league with a very good home record, so we will have to be at our best.”
Baildon choose almost the same squad as would have faced Halifax Vandals away last weekend with the exception that Alistair Beaumont returns to the bench after ten weeks out with a broken hand.
Teenager Matt Robinson is due to make a delayed debut on the wing.
Baildon (at Newton Aycliffe): JJ O’Connell; M Robinson, H Lister, A Patchett, R Kingham; N Lister, B Newton; A Hewitt, D Tabiner, P Lowth, A Pollard, M Atkinson, T Craven, C Woodhall, J Picken. Replacements: M Hemingway, G Price, P Wilson, A Beaumont, J Dawson.
