Wibsey coach Dave Grayson is a proud man.
His team defeated Adwick le Street 35-23 in a basement battle in Yorkshire Division Five last Saturday that took the High Street side off the bottom and above the Doncaster side.
“The lads are buzzing at the moment and I am really pleased for them,” said Grayson.
“Also we got the bonus point having trailed 20-10 at half-time playing up the Beldon Lane slope in the first half.
“Centre James Nall got two tries, scrum half James Sawyer got two tries and No 8 James Birkbeck and winger Matt Holdsworth also crossed.
“However, we are missing both half-backs at Hornsea on Saturday as we try and catch third-from-bottom Nestle Rowntree.”
