Otley are expecting a big challenge in more ways than one on Saturday.
The Cross Greeners, who have slipped back into a relegation place in National League One, square up to Rosslyn Park at home.
“They have one of the biggest packs in the division, and some of their backs are pretty big too,” said Otley’s director of rugby Gary Walker.
“Park have players who have come down from Premiership clubs, and we know what to expect, but we only lost 17-15 at their place.”
On the down side, Otley will be without both No 8 Ollie Stedman and hooker Scott Freer, who are in the Leeds Carnegie squad for their LV= Cup tie at home to Gloucester on Sunday, and full back Christian Georgiou could be missing with a bicep injury.
Walker said: “We have plenty of cover in the backs.”
Otley will again be reliant on their togetherness, with Walker adding: “There is nothing wrong with that as we proved at home to Blackheath a fortnight ago, and in the second half last week at London Scottish where we lost 37-22.
“We won the second half down there and were a bit unlucky not to get a bonus point for four tries. We played really well.”
