Cleckheaton, who were beaten 14-12 at bottom-of-the-table Hartlepool Rovers last weekend in North One East, have a key man back on Saturday for the home game against Morpeth.
Fly half Iain Gordon, who was working six days ago, returns for the promotion-chasing hosts, who are third in the table.
Cleckheaton spokesman Alan Bentley said: “We had set ourselves a points target from January, and we are already behind that.
“We were banking on four or five points from last weekend and really need a maximum haul this weekend.
“Last Saturday was disappointing. We should have won because we had loads of pressure for the last 20 minutes but they broke away into our 22 and dropped a match-winning goal.
“Conditions were a great leveller as the pitch churned up but Rovers played with great spirit.”
