Former Baildon player-coach Carlos Hassan returns to Jenny Lane on Saturday with visitors Old Otliensians for an intriguing Yorkshire Division Three derby.
’Ensians, who have named Hassan at fly half and German international Kristian Keinhorst at full back, may be bottom of the table but their only win of the season was by 31-16 at Baildon’s expense in September.
The second-placed hosts are without influential scrum half James Dawson (shoulder) but are able to hand a senior debut to former Leeds Carnegie No 9 Olly Shaw, who has not yet returned to his studies at Nottingham University.
They also welcome back Joe Moore to a squad that shows nine changes to that beaten by Otliensians.
Hassan left Baildon at the end of last season before moving to Chaffer’s Field.
Baildon (home to Old Otliensians): J J O’Connell; J Moore, A Patchett, M Dracup, H Lister; S Wilson, O Shaw; P Lowth, T Craven A Hewitt, A Pollard, M Atkinson, T Crane, A Beaumont, J Picken. Replacements: M Hemingway, G Price, J Wood.
