Following the pounding Wharfedale took in beating Blaydon last weekend, scrum half Sam Cottrell has to miss the trip to Sedgley Park in National League One on Saturday.
He is replaced by youngster Philip Woodhead, who will be making his first start for the Greens.
The only other changes are on the bench, which sees the welcome return from injury of prop Adam Mason and centre Andy Hodgson.
