Baildon, aiming for their third straight win in Yorkshire Division Three tomorrow, are at Northallerton.

All Baildon’s points in their 13-5 win over Halifax Vandals last Saturday, which eased their relegation worries came from skipper Ali Beaumont (try, conversion and two penalties).

A bonus was that all the teams around the Jenny Laners in the table lost.

All of Baildon's points were scored in the first half with the wind and slope in their favour.

Vandals tried in vain to score in the second half as the Baildon defence held out and the forwards slowly worked their way up the Jenny Lane slope.

However, Vandals managed a score in the 75th minute with a try wide out, but this was too little, too late to worry Baildon.

They continued to dominate the opposition forwards up the Jenny Lane slope to hold out for a deserved victory.
