Bradford Salem’s current luck was summed up last Saturday night when a wooden table collapsed outside their clubhouse and fell on the ankle of flanker Dave Hutton, breaking it.
“That’s the last thing we needed – another injury on top of those we have already had, plus our unavailabilities,” said Salem’s match secretary Neil Klenk.
They hope to halt one of their worst runs for 20 years by winning their Yorkshire Division One match at Dinnington tomorrow.
But they could also be without full back Jonathan Davies due to teaching commitments.
Bradford Salem (at Dinnington) (possible team): J Davies; C Savva, K Whata, C Bourne, S McManus; R Langhorn, I Woodwiss; C Buxton, S Fields, J Bradbury, D Pearson, B Scarbrough, J Booth, K Falwasser, S Thomas. Replacements: D Luxton, J Luxton, W Rae.
