Wharfedale make only one change for the visit of Blackheath in National League One from the team that was outplayed by Tynedale.

Dale are buoyed by the selection of their captain Rob Baldwin and fly half Mark Bedworth for England Counties duty next Friday in Lille against their French counterparts.

Injured prop Adam Mason makes way for Mark Chivers in the starting line-up but Chris Steel returns to the bench following a few weeks’ absence.

Blackheath, who are 11th, are having an inconsistent season, but have recovered from a dreadful start in which they lost their first four matches and six of their first eight.

They then got to grips with their home fixtures – they defeated fifth-placed Wharfedale 20-15 last November – but have won only twice away from home.

Last Saturday, however, they beat a good Blaydon side 39-17 and will arrive at the Dale in confident mood.
