Third-from-bottom Otley, beaten 25-21 at home to Cinderford last Saturday, at least had some good news off the pitch in midweek.
Before Christmas, the club asked members for a pledge of £200 each to tide them over the summer.
This week the club held a second information meeting and the response from members was good.
Club chairman Paul Carter explained: “The second meeting was held because the first was in January and not everyone could get there because of the weather.
“About 60 people turned up this week compared to 20 last month, and the response was again good, al-though I am not prepared to say how much has been pledged.”
Otley have a stiff test at fifth-placed Cambridge on Saturday in National League One.
