A much-depleted Keighley team were comfortably beaten 31-3 by a confident Malton and Norton in Yorkshire One.
With no score on the board and the half-time whistle minutes away, Keighley’s prop Paul Sinfield was sinbinned for dissent.
Hosts Malton chose to scrummage and heaved Keighley over the try-line for a touchdown by Sam Triffitt, converted by Teei Piawi.
In the second half, Malton pressed home their advantage, scoring four further tries and two conversions. Keighley’s only response was a penalty from Alex Brown.
