Bradford Salem’s injury crisis hasn’t quite reached Manchester United proportions.
But the unavailable list is in double figures for their Yorkshire Division One match at Bridlington on Saturday.
“I reckon there are 11 or 12 out,” confessed Salem’s match secretary, “and it seems to be the kiss of death to play in the back row or the second row.
“So it is to our credit in a very competitive division that we have won nine and lost four.
“The most disappointing defeat was at Skipton, where we didn’t play.”
Prop Craig Buxton is particularly doubtful, and centre Sean Thomas could well end up playing at flanker.
