Cleckheaton are hoping to include former British Lion John Bentley in their line-up for Boxing Day's Fred Scott Trophy match at Old Brodleians (11.00).
“John has always expressed an interest in playing in this match as he loves the ridicule he gets!” explained Cleckheaton spokesman Alan Bentley.

“We also hope to include stalwarts such as Matt Womersley and Neil Gillan, plus guests like Ryan Piper from Heath, Ryan Piercy from Halifax and Mark Chivers from Rotherham and Harrogate.”
